More Netflix Stuff That Doesn't Suck

• Dirt (first 1 or 2 episodes)  
  Not totally sure how I feel about this one. It stars Courtney cox and the Cajun cop dude I kind of like from criminal minds. Apparently this show came out in 2007 under ‘coquette’ productions or something, so it was created when Courtney cox and david arquette were still a couple. Courtney cox’s character is weird. Not quite Monica from Friends, but not quite the chick from Cougar town.
        
• Out of Practice (first episode) Meh. Has some decent characters…the Fonz (except as an older, fatter, father figure), and the dad from Modern Family, who I love. But he’s the brother of the main character, so he doesn’t get much time on screen to be hilarious. For the most part, everything is painfully over-acted.
• Retired at 35 (first few episodes)   I guess this is a TVLand original series. Pretty cute, has some funny writing, just not very much depth. Reminds me of the short lived, but likable, ‘shizz my dad says’ show from last year. 

• Still watching Prison Break. Moving right along. I remember a lot of people talking about this show when it first came out, and I remember thinking it couldn’t possibly live up to the hype. Turns out, it’s ok. Little slow, but watchable. Also, good for watching when trying to take a nap.

In My Awesome Opinion (IMAO)...

REVIEWS OF CURRENT TV SERIES AVAILABLE ON NETFLEX STREAMING:

• Dirty Sexy Money (watched about 1 episode) - I saw potential in this, because the main character is the guy I love from Six Feet Under. Larry said the beginning looked very ‘kennedy-esque’. I thought it could be cute and funny. I was wrong. It was a stupid plot with overly cliché dialogue and extremely predictable character relationships and ‘plot development’ (if you can even call it that).
• The InBetweeners (All of Seasons 1 & 2) - British comedy is usually hit or miss, but this one is pretty freaking funny. Sometimes the jokes are hard to catch, because the characters have thick british accents and the script is old English, not American English, so not everything translates all that well. But overall, very very funny show. Easy to watch, good time waster.
• Prison Break (first few episodes of season 1; currently still watching)
• Harper’s Island (first few episodes of season 1) Stupid storyline. Very cliché. All of it. Reeks of poorly scripted crap and painful overacting.   

• Persons Unknown (first episode, maybe 2nd) Rah-tarded. Seriously. 

• Traffic Light (entire first season = entire series) - Don’t remember this show ever being on tv, so I was happily surprised when I started watching and found that it was pretty freaking funny. I get why it didn’t get renewed for a 2nd season, not a whole lot of depth, but regardless, fun to watch and hilarious.

and now it’s Wednesday, hump day, July 11, 2012. I’ve been sick since last Monday. Off and on. I thought I was feeling better, but now that everyone in the office is claiming that I got them sick, I’m starting not to feel that great again. I’ve been tired as crap lately. Going to bed before midnight, which for me, is insane. I slept for like 36 straight hours this weekend. Going out Saturday night was not a smart idea, and definitely didn’t help anything.
